Alas, the day has returned when our academic progress must continue. Winter break is not easy to move on from. The days of sleeping in late, spending hours doing nothing, chilling with your friends 24/7, staying in your pj's, and ignoring the idea of 'school' or 'homework' have come to an end. Indeed, today was the return. And it was terrible. Not only are we exhausted as a whole student body, but many of us have friends or siblings that have extra days off school. Actually, my sister has this whole week off, and that thought eats away at my focus all day. How could I, an innocent citizen, be locked in this prison while my very own sister roams free? This very thought enrages me, makes me "grumpy." Yes. That pretty much sums up the day. A bunch of grumpy teenagers locked in prison, knowing that others, who are no better than themselves, are free.
