Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And, before yesterday, all that meant to me was that I had no school. I didn't understand the meaning of the day. I didn't care enough to find out.
That all changed.
My family drove down to the University of Utah (GO UTES) and attended a Martin Luther King Rally and Marade (Marade being a mix of a parade and a march). There, we heard from a passionate and inspiring speaker and talented musical numbers. After the program, we marched from East High to President's Circle.
The theme was moving forward and originated from the following quote by Dr. King himself:

"“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

No matter what, keep moving forward.

And ^^that's^^ what it's REALLY about.
