Every year, after Christmas and New Year's Eve, comes the time when you have to sit down with your family and spit out a bunch of empty words, a.k.a. make goals. To most teenagers, making goals is just telling your parents what they want to hear and what they have asked you to do better, like don't fight with your siblings, or get all A's and B's. And honestly, that is how it normally goes. However, the 20 minutes you spend pretending to think about what you can do better can actually be the difference between a good and a bad year. Let's face it, siblings are annoying and parents seem to always be getting in the way. But if you really think about what you did wrong the previous year and what caused all of the fights between you and your dad or you and your best friend, you can make a change in not only your life, but other people's lives as well. So this year when you and your family sit down to make goals, I hope you and I both can make worth while and productive commitments.
Have a FANTASTIC 2012!
Matthias
